About the role
Our Learning and Development Advisor will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of ASF learning and development interventions to meet business needs. This is a hands on and varied role responsible for working closely with colleagues to develop, review and monitor a companywide annual learning and development plan, developing and delivering different learning interventions, sourcing external training programmes/trainers as required and to administer to the training database and learner progress. The role is part of the HR team, working closely with the operations team and have effective working relationships across our business.
About you
You will be qualified in learning and development and have a proven track record in design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development, proficiency in Microsoft office applications, effective verbal and written communication skills, you will also be a team player.

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
Location: Orchard Farm, School Road, Salford Priors
Main duties and responsibilities:
To conduct needs analysis and identify appropriate learning and development interventions
To lead on development and delivery of learning and development projects
To design and deliver train the trainer programmes
To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmes
To develop an annual learning and development plan
To prepare, report and present on progress as required
To design, deliver and review appropriate companywide learning and development programmes which meet different learning styles, business needs and cover the employment lifecycle
To ensure that all learning and development interventions are timely, focused, relevant and add value
To source external training programmes/trainers as required
To provide advice and coaching that supports individual personal and professional development
To research and evaluate appropriate training software programs to increase administrative efficiencies as required
To administer and maintain a training database of learning plans and learner progress
To maintain appropriate learning and development records for audit purposes
To maintain knowledge of industry developments
To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal developments.
To fully participate in the development and achievement of the Angus People Departmental Vision.
To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role
Essential criteria
Minimum GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in maths and English.
Learning and Development qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proven track record in design and delivery of training programmes
Experience of delivery training within fresh produce
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective problem solving skills
Effective influencing skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
Ability to embed and live ASF Values
