Field Service mechanical fitter
We are currently looking for a Field Service mechanical fitter to join HS2 project in Kingsbury, Warwickshire on a permanent basis however, you will be required to work on different HS2 sites across the West Midlands when needed.
Job duties would include:
- Be able to troubleshoot & repair plant and equipment
- Servicing the precast yard machinery
- Working alongside other mechanical fitters
- Flexible with time to work out of normal hours and some weekends to carry out, PPM, repairs, or to solve urgent breakdown issues to ensure the least possible downtime to critical plant and equipment.
The following experience/ skills are essential:
Previous experience in plant and equipment maintenance
CSCS card
Full UK driving licence (vehicle will be provided when travelling across different sites)
Mechanical plant trades certificate (beneficial)
Relevant CSCS in-date card, and driving license is a must
IPAF Card, ideally 3A+3B (beneficial)
Rate: GBP29.20 ph PAYE (with 30 days paid holidays and pension scheme)
Working hours: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5.30pm (1 hour break each day)
Start date: 15/08/2022
Overtimes:
After more then 10 hrs per day at x1.33 and weekend work at x1.5
Duration: Long term project, 2 yrs +
Benefits: 30 days holidays per annum, pension scheme on auto-enrollment basis, branded PPE, HS2 induction, health and safety critical medical (when required)
Lodge allowance of GBP41.66 per shift (taxable) available for candidiates located 50 miles away fom the job and further.
Successful candidate would need to pass drug and alcohol test and provide a valid proof of right to work in the UK.
