Goods In Operatives required for a Specialist manufacturing business in Slough. We are looking for experienced warehouse Operatives/ materials controller ideally with experience of production environments.
We are looking for Experienced Methodical Operatives with Goods In / Out Experience. This is a critical role to the business where you will be managing the movement of fragile and expensive equipment utilised within specialist industries.
You will be booking in goods /components as they arrive and must be able to recognise electrical components, have good attention to detail and be able to concentrate for long periods of time.
Goods in/stores/warehouse, experience is a must as the department are extremely busy so need to ensure all goods arriving and parts are being booked in efficiently.
This would be in our packing and despatch area:
Physically placing packed lamps into location within our stores area
MUST BE Computer literate
Booking into the specified locations on an Excel spreadsheet accurately - Attention to detail required (Product types, production order numbers, serial numbers need to be correct)
Accessing and printing customer labels for certain types
Completing paperwork for booked in Equipment, including location information, before passing through to the admin office.
Using picking and packing lists to pull customer orders from the shelves
Packing despatch boxes according to current processes and customer requirements
Gaining accurate weight and dimensions before passing paperwork back to admin office
Physical fitness would be an advantage as some despatch boxes may weigh up to 30 kg
