Permanent Van Driver Role Available
Location: SS14 3FT, Basildon.
Salary: GBP12.32 per hour, overtime available.
Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
We have an exciting opportunity available for an additional Van Driver to join our Basildon based Regional Service Centre on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is most suited to someone who is not afraid of early mornings, as your working day will often begin at 6:00 a.m. and finish approximately 2:30 p.m.
If you are a get- up and go character, eager to get the job done and ready to support a small van driving team, this may be the role for you. This is your chance to join a dedicated and committed Transport and Distribution department, at an established family-run fitted furniture company.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our Basildon depot, our Van Driver will provide an excellent delivery service and all-round experience to our customers.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
Deliver Hammonds products to our Installer s lock ups, customer homes, building sites and retailers.
Load, unload, prepare and inspect assigned vehicle daily using the driver de-brief and vehicle check sheet.
Collecting Hammonds product/rubbish from Installer s lock up s, customer homes, building sites and retailers
Checking the load on and off the vehicle using the bingo check process.
Loading your vehicle using the best loading practice and unloading cages guides.
Maintain housekeeping tasks to the required level of hygiene
YOU MUST HAVE
Experience as a Van Driver/Delivery Driver with current valid driving licence - minimum Class B
