SQL DBA
Mainstay is working with an industry-leading company to look for a SQL DBA for an exciting role based in Swindon.
The successful candidate should be an experienced SQL DBA. Ideally, the candidate will be a proven problem solver with a technical skillset that ranged wide, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft servers, SQL Database Admin, and Design.
As a SQL DBA, you will be responsible for supporting the design and deployment of SQL Clusters whilst Developing Scripts to automate repeatable processes. You will also be responsible for testing, development, and planning of change requests and Provide instructions for support teams while taking responsibility for designing and developing technical and operational procedures.
The successful SQL DBA will have:
SQL Server Database Administration and design
SQL Reporting studio and query writing, T-SQL
SQL Maintenance tasks and stored procedures
Development and scripting in PowerShell
Microsoft/SQL Cluster Design, configuration, and support
Microsoft replication technologies
Be eligible for SC clearance
