Our client is part of a global business that design, manufacture and supply products to the Aerospace, Defence and other highly regulated industries.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the development and improvements of processes, programs and quality plans across the site. Using lean manufacturing techniques to ensure efficient processes.

Job Description
Responsible for the continuous improvement and development of existing QA programs and processes using lean manufacturing methodologies and regular analysis of quality data
To communicate with customers and vendors to resolve quality issues efficiently
Develop quality control systems and procedures, maintaining compliance to ISO9001 and creating documents to report to management
Plan and perform both internal and external QMS audits, applying relevant continuous improvement
Ensure calibration systems are compliant, and all machinery is performing as required

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications;
Previous experience working within well rounded Quality Assurance position
Must be physically able to lift and move stock around, there is some heavier lifting in this position
Flexibility on work hours and travel, both nationally and internationally as required
Ability to perform and delivery results in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications;
Experience working within manufacturing and distribution in industries such as aerospace, automotive and pharmaceutical would be beneficial but not essential
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team effectively
