STORES PERSON - Permanent - Early finish every Friday at 1pm and no week- ends!
Our client is a hugely successful and well established business now recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to be based in their factory at Head Office. The role is permanent and due to the business being established over 60 years ago the environment is stable and secure. There will also be opportunities for progression.

The role of Stores Person is important and the main aim of the role is to ensure that all products and parts are delivered to clients on time and ensure the "flow" of parts run smoothly from the factory through to the shop-floor production lines. The Stores Person will provide support to: Customer Services, Stores, Purchasing, Production and Despatch. The role is busy and some of the key duties will include:
Support Customer Services with all requests for Spare Parts
Ensure that the Stores and Goods Inwards are stocked and identified at all times
Support the Despatch team to ensure all products are delivered on time
Monitor deliveries of parts to ensure that the internal resource knows they have arrived
Booking in all parts and updating in house system
Ensure that PPE such as safety footwear, eye protection and company uniform is worn at all times
Manage all incoming parts and update booking in systems
Ensure good housekeeping standards maintained throughout the factory
You will be part of a friendly and fun team and will take pride in your work to ensure that the Production Lines run smoothly. The role of Stores Person will suit a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a Stores/Goods Inwards environment and can work in line with the company s Health & Safety Policies. The successful Stores Person must be IT literate and have a confident telephone manner. Immediate start available
