We recruiting for a Facilities Manager 12 FTC on behalf of our client. This position is based in Gerrards Cross / Beaconsfield area. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of all aspects of the facilities, including management relationship of the day to day third party service providers/contractors, compliance and Health & Safely. This is an excellent opportunity who is looking to join a fantastic organisation in the education sector.
Essential Responsibilities
Proven track record of successfully managing a facility or managing a similar service
Management of FM staff and oversee the team s development needs
Experienced with a life cycle of a building
Managed medium to large projects with experience of budget, tendering and procurement.
Support governance, by attending board & committee meeting when required
Knowledge of Project Management and Compliance / H&S
Track record of implementing in processes and service level agreements
Ordering of all buildings and grounds related maintenance materials, tools and equipment and ordering furniture, fixtures and fittings as required.
Essential Skills
Ability to plan proactively plan strategically, prioritise tasks
Responsible for financial planning including budgets
Proven experience of managing a diverse team, and direct experience of facilities and property management at a senior level
Preferred Requirements
Preferably qualified in a building or FM related discipline and ideally either NEBOSH or BIFM level 4
Experience working within the public or education sector
A strong technical background in Buildings and Construction or Mechanical and Electrical fields
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong background in project management
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Business continuity planning
