Our client is an Engineering company based in the Manchester area and they require a skilled Generator Technician/Engineer to join their team.
You will be required to repair and refurbish Generators both in the workshop and on-site.
Benefits:
Salary is GBP30,000 plus regular overtime, OTE GBP50K
Excellent workshop conditions
Some travel
Duties of the Generator Technician/Engineer include:
You will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical services and repairs to a range of generators up to 100KVA including diagnosing faults, strip down and rebuilds.
You will be responsible for completing any relevant paperwork accurately along with adhering to the company s health and safety policies and procedures
You will have to travel to sites accross the UK and also sometimes internationally.
To be successful:
You will have previous experience working on generators up to 100KVA.
You will also have previous experience working within the plant and power generation industry as a generator engineer, generator mechanic, generator technician, diesel mechanic or fitter.
You MUST hold a BTEC, NVQ or City and Guilds in plant maintenance, mechanical engineering, diesel fitting or land-based technology.
You MUST hold a FULL UK driving license
The Company:
You will be working with a leading engineering repair company base in the Manchester area. Due to their ongoing success, they are expanding thier current workforce and are now seeking an enthusiastic Generator Technicians who are able to keep up with the demands of the company.
The normal hours of work are 7.30am - 4pm with an early finish on Friday.
There is also regular overtime available and nationwide and international working
