Based in a fast paced industrial office environment. In this role you will be supporting the Office Manager. Providing high level administrative support to ensure full compliance and management of the safety, compliance and ensuring a commercially sound administration process.
Shifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:00pm (Office Based)
Responsible for leading continuous improvement programmes throughout the team in areas relating to Safety, Quality & Compliance, Cost and Service Delivery. These programmes will be cascades throughout the team and reviewed regularly.
Ensuring that all critical and relevant information is correctly recorded, right first time, within business standard workflows with process failures challenged including implementing an appropriate corrective action plan.
Manage and develop all administration functions and support / development of office staff.
Creating and maintaining weekly performance KPI s for the team and issuing results to On-Site Operations Manager
Developing existing performance measures to ensure clear visibility of critical business processes within the flow of information through site Administration team.
Control of Payroll for site, ensuring right first time and on time, data input and submission
Supporting where possible other teams to enable and realise developments within internal administration processes
Critical super user for internal processes and tracking systems / databases driving process and data efficiencies within the business.
Essential Qualifications:
GCSE/Higher Equiv. English & Mathematics
Leadership & Management Certificate (Desirable)
MS Office applications
Lean 6Sigma (Desirable)
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Waste management background (Desirable)
Confident decision making
Experience of developing and running a small team
Excellent communication skills both written and orally
Advanced Excel & Word
Good understanding of using databases
Proven track record of effective leadership and management
