Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with a highly successful Manufacturer based in Blackburn, who are actively looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.
The Role:
Respond immediately to equipment failures
Complete shift reports, and work orders
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to required standard
Ensure equipment is handed back to production in a 100% safe condition
Conduct machine and facility observations during the shift to identify potential failure or deterioration
Develop and recommend solutions to improve output rate per hour or yield
Skills required
HNC/HND or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
NVQ time served apprentice in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent qualification)
Multi-skilled ability
Understanding of pneumatics/hydraulics
Experience with PLC's
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Worked with chain, sprocket, belt driven machinery
Worked with compressors, chillers, heat exchangers and HVAC equipment
18th edition Wiring Regulations (Desirable)Benefits
