Production Operative required to join an award-winning business who are specialists in the production of sustainable construction products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company which can offer job security and stability. Candidates will be from a mechanical background and can come from any industry background. Experience within manufacturing, aggregates or heavy industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
Reporting into the Team Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring the production line and carrying out minor maintenance across an aggregates manufacturing plant. You will ensure procedures are carried out compliantly, in line with legal and operational requirements, and take on a continuous improvement approach.
You will drive mobile plant, identify potential breakdowns and support material handling. You will ensure the plant is kept in a clean and tidy environment which will involve cleaning mixers and using tools such as pneumatic chisels to clean confined spaces.
