Our client is currently looking for an Apprentice Chef to join their busy team in Henley-On-Thames. The successful candidate will be given ongoing training and support while working towards their Commis Chef Level 2 qualification with an accredited training partner.
Our client s main focus is to provide tasty, healthy but affordable food. Using ingredients that are of excellent quality and supporting other local businesses along the way. We really care about making sure there is something for everyone, whether you're vegan, veggie or gluten free.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for food and cooking. You will be working directly with the business owner and management team while learning the current menu as well as being given the opportunity to have input on new ideas and weekly specials!
Working Hours: 8am - 2pm - 5 days per week (Inc either Saturday or Sunday with one weekday off)
Apprentice Chef Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Work closely with the management team to come up with weekly specials and new menu ideas.
Have a passion for food and cooking
No previous experience is needed as full in-house training will be provided alongside your Apprenticeship!
