Oh behalf of our client we are currently looking for a Machine Operator to work on a temporary-ongoing basis, based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. For the right candidate this position could lead to a permanent role!
You will be responsible for operating machinery, inputting data, checking tensions and speeds of the machines.
Main Duties:
- To package products into containers and seal them.
- To conduct quality checks and record as necessary.
- To handle full cartons and rolls correctly and safely.
- Label cartons and stack correctly onto pallets as required.
- To operate the controls of multiple bag machines.
- To perform minor maintenance tasks such as blade changing and cleaning of the machines.
This role would be suitable for someone who has experience and knowledge of machinery, but also has a good understanding of a factory environment. However, it is not essential that you have machine experience as full training will be provided.
This role will include various shifts, such as 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am so full flexibility is required.
GBP10.14 per hour.
