We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative lecturer of History to join a dynamic and innovative A Level teaching team. You will have a relevant degree and a desire to help students engage with challenging ideas, theories and sources covering a broad range of historical events, including the English Civil War, the French Revolution and modern USA history. This is an exciting and varied role as there is a requirement to teach across our A Level Politics programme and the opportunity to History for our successful International Baccalaureate Programme.


The ability to inspire and enthuse students to achieve outstanding results by means of highly effective and stimulating teaching is a priority and, while experience of working either within FE or the post 16 sector is desirable this post would suit either a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner of Politics or History.


This role is primarily based at our Bridgwater Campus however there will be some travel to Taunton Campus required.
