GAVO (Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations) was established in 1927 and is now the longest-standing and largest County Voluntary Council in Wales. We are committed to strengthening the effectiveness of the Voluntary and Community Sector across Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Newport.

We are seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day to day financial management of GAVO. You will provide sound financial advice to the Chief Executive and Trustees. You will work closely with the Senior Management and Corporate Management Teams to provide support and guidance in line with GAVO’s financial policies and procedures, helping to deliver the strategy and goals of the organisation.

It is essential that you are qualified (or part qualified, studying towards an accounting qualification), i.e. AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA. A demonstrable experience in financial planning and reporting and working with funders and auditors is also essential, as well as experience of managing staff.
