Monday to Thursday 7:45am to 4:30pm
Friday 7:45am to 3:30pm
We are currently supporting a specialist engineering firm, who are now keen to recruit an experienced engineering estimator, due to continued growth and future expansion plans.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY
Experienced Engineering Estimator.
Ideally an understanding of AutoCAD - but not essential.
Competent Microsoft user.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible.
Used to working to tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Analytically minded, with the ability to undertake financial analysis.
Good team player.
Organised and methodical.
Aware of data confidentiality
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the Managing Director, your role will include but not limited to:
Compiling quotations for products within their range.
Clarifying customer needs and expectations.
Discussing technical features of proposals with customers.
Obtaining quotes for all predicted requirements from suppliers and sub-contractors.
Calculating cost of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire.
Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel, Word.
Liaising with other Departments such as planners and design teams.
