Sociology Graduates Maidenhead - Education and Training - Sociology Graduates Maidenhead - LSA role to begin Tuesday 6th September - ideal role for an aspiring Youth Justice or Criminal Justice officer.
The schools are open for the most vulnerable students in society and key workers, plus, schools are open to teachers who will be going in to deliver lessons online.
This is a Learning Support Assistant role that will put you into challenging, sometimes Anti-Social contexts that will build your foundations of experience. With this LSA role starting after, de-escalation and the language around it is incredibly important! This is a specialist school where empathy and pragmatism are key. To be a Social Justice Officer, these are the contexts that you have to put yourself in, experience just how challenging they can be.
If you are an aspiring Social Justice Officer, Criminal Justice Officer or Probation Officer, this LSA role will give you pragmatic experience of working with vulnerable students who have been through severe traumas.
Restorative Practice, pragmatism and positive reinforcement will be key skills in this LSA role in Farnham. The role specialises in working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and Wellness concerns. The boys you are raising attainment with are between the ages of 9-16, all have EHCPs and will need to continue their education once they leave the school.
Behaviour is only one aspect of this role, it is imperative that you have the academic skill to be able to raise academic attainment across a number of areas. Computing, Hairdressing, PE and the Performative Arts are all incredibly important here, there is a real holistic approach and feeling within this brand new Autism and SEMH School in Maidenehad.
The LSA role will give you experience in safeguarding and assessment of what rehabilitation students require to be empowered back into mainstream education. It is important to understand, where the boys come from, what the boys have been through and the importance of clear objectives being set for them, making them feel valued within education in the process.
Do you require a placement before starting your MSc/Research project? This practical placement will enable you to qualify and disqualify areas of Psychology, Youth, Social and Criminal Justice that are right for you. This LSA role is not for everyone; you must be sincere about your objectives and know why you are aspiring Social Justice Officer.

Focus on GSCE subjects, AQA, building a curriculum that works for the boys. Focus on College and continued education
