Salary: Scale 2 Point 4 £19,264 FTE (range 4-5)

Actual salary £8,867 per annum

Hours of work: 20 hours per week around the core school hours of 9am – 3pm. Term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year)

Contract: 1 Year fixed term.

Cambourne Village College, an over-subscribed, Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ secondary school eight miles from Cambridge, opened as an academy of the Cam Academy Trust in September 2013.

The purpose of this role is to provide support within the PE department.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of resources before and after lessons
• Providing assistance to students and staff during lessons
• General inventory and cleaning duties
• General admin duties for the Head of Department
• Support of the extra-curricular provision

The ideal candidate will be flexible and enjoy working in a busy school environment and be able to organise and prioritise their workload.
