I am currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join a growing technology business based in Reading.

The Account Managers deal with inbound enquiries, make outbound calls to identify new business opportunities, and ensure our continued success by managing relationships with our existing B2B customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries including Architects, Developers, Surveyors and Environmental Consultants, across the UK.

Full hands-on training will be provided to the right candidate and you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the market and the customer personas they interact with.

The role will involve:

Maintaining a segmented and targeted customer contact strategy through the customer lifecycle.

Developing our customer contact strategy to include more targeted, timely communications, through triggers from customer actions (e.g. recent purchases).

Identifying the needs and challenges of the customer to determine their interest in our products and services, with both new and existing customers.

Owning a territory of accounts and managing your area through a systematic framework of reporting.

Working with the Marketing team to deliver and monitor the marketing evaluation framework with a focus on driving constant improvements in ROI.

Supporting engagement in webinars and training, following-up with customers who expressed interest but did not register for webinars

Using social media including LinkedIn to stay top-of-mind with our customers and improve our marketing reach.

About You

A confident communicator, you will have experience of building and maintaining relationships with a high degree of customer focus. Tenacity and enthusiasm are essential to your success in this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft packages.

Knowledge of the Property Industry would be an advantage.

The ability to absorb and apply technical knowledge.

Initiative with the ability to solve problems independently where necessary.

Previous account management experience is advantageous, preferably from a B2B environment.

Salary: GBP24,000 plus 10k commission.
