Our client is a world leading research-based pharmaceutical company renowned for pushing the boundaries of medical innovation are seeking an experienced Hr Advisor

Main Duties / Responsibilities

- Work with the Associate Director, HR to develop, implement and update HR programmes and initiatives.
- Manage day to day HR operations, acting as first point of contact for the client group.
- Case management of performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance and absence processes through to conclusion in line with local
governance and legislation, partnering with senior managers to determine the appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and information to colleagues on on-boarding processes, appraisals, salary and bonus reviews, mentoring programmes,
retirements and maternity/paternity leave.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting including headcount / budget tracking, analysis ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Manages, leads or contributes to HR projects and provides resource and support for larger projects as required
- Stay up to date with developments in employment law and keep the team informed of HR trends, potential new initiatives, and best practices.
- Work with the Associate Director, HR and EMEA HR Team to ensure the business's objectives are met, and which take account of related HR
strategies and practices in other regions.
- To ensure that service levels meet or exceed the expectations of their designated internal client departments.
- Always ensure compliance with applicable employment law.
- Support with coordination and delivery of HR learning programmes.
- Support talent acquisition campaigns across business areas including Internships and Apprenticeships by scoping business needs and
identifying a match to skills and experience required utilising competency-based interview techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring that the HRMS is kept up to date and accurate and that reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring payroll changes are recorded and communicated in line with monthly payroll deadlines.

Qualifications, education and language requirements:

BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Studies or similar field
CIPD Level 5 or 7
Our european corporate language is English and the successful candidate must therefore be fluent in English, both written and spoken

Experience Required:

Significant Generalist HR experience, including strong background in employee relations and case management.
Knowledge and application of UK employment law
Experience advising managers on employment law and best HR practice
