My client is a nationwide fleet management company looking for a Head of IT.
Main purpose of the role:
Focal point for the IT department for all BAU responsibilities.
Ensuring all activities from IT Support, Service Management, Planning and Disaster Recovery help to deliver a great customer experience to our external and internal customers.
Lead your team, support the day to day running of the department and develop the IT roadmap for the business as it embarks on a very exciting period.
Accountabilities:
Define and successfully implement the IT strategy.
Ensure the IT team delivers to a high standard and consistently achieve SLAs and KPIs, fostering a culture of excellent customer service across the business.
Drive resolution of business issues and ensure customer satisfaction, quality, cost efficiency, stability and technical performance for services, products and solutions within the area of responsibility.
Supervise, lead and develop people.
To monitor the performance and potential of your team and provide the direction, training and motivation.
To carry out Performance Management Reviews with direct reporting staff.
Required Experience:
Extensive management experience in an IT service delivery and support role
Demonstrable experience in driving transformation within an organisation
Strong influencing, negotiation and decision-making skills that can be applied within the organisation, with suppliers and customers
Knowledge of data warehousing, data analytics and reporting
Demonstrable experience of implementing, managing and testing a disaster recovery and business continuity program
Demonstrable experience of producing IT policies, procedures, work instructions to support the requirements of a quality management system
Proven experience of IT management - people and technology
Wide range of technical knowledge including ITIL
Proven experience of project planning, budgeting and supplier selection and contract management
