Junior/Senior/Utility Surveyor
Derby - Hybrid/home-based role
Permanent (Mon-Fri)
Competitive Salary up to GBP35,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits
The Client
Our client is a multi-disciplined professional survey company that specialises in location surveys, underground utility mapping and underground services surveys which they complete with confidence in the Midlands region but also Nationwide. With over 45 years of combined industry experience, offering the widest range of equipment and various specialist techniques combine to make them one of the leading survey providers around.
The Role
The utility surveyor will work predominately within the Midlands region but must be happy to undertake work further afield. Carry out utility surveys (EML/GPR), in accordance with company procedures and best practice. The surveyor s duties will also include:
Adhere to working instructions from internal and external clients
Undertake post processing of data and production of outputs using survey software
It is also desirable but not essential for the candidate to be competent in the use of AutoCAD
Maintain vehicles and survey equipment and in line with company expectations
Experience
Over 2 years experience in a similar role
Experience in all utility survey techniques, EML/GPR/GPS
Good understanding PAS128 Specification, all Survey Types and Methodologies
Competent user of AutoCAD
Demonstrate a keen attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Working across the UK to travel to client sites
Good communication skills and team spirit approach
CSCS card is desirable but not essential
Full Driving License is essential

Competitive Salary GBP22,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience
