Retail Floor Planner
Are you a creative, passionate, and driven individual with an interest and experience in retail?
Pertemps is seeking a Retail Floor Planner to join their client on a permanent basis - the UK 's fastest growing privately owned company based in Plymouth with over 200 stores nationwide.
As the Retail Floor Planner, you will create and communicate retail floorplans for new and existing stores. Using AutoCAD, you will work with a team of floor planners, buyers, and analysts to produce accurate and timely merchandising plans for their stores to implement.
The successful Retail Floor Planner will report to the Floor Planning Manager, producing layouts for both new and existing stores for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter trading seasons in a timely, methodical, and analytical fashion.
The Retail Floor Planner will need to have the required software:
AutoCAD - (Preferable)
Sketchup or equivalent 3D design package (advantageous)
Windows O/S
Microsoft Office Package
Photoshop or equivalent graphics package (advantageous)
As the Retail Floor Planner, you need to be:
A Team player
Flexible and able to meet changing business priorities

Numerate and analytical - logical and a thorough approach to work with a high attention to detail
Decision making skills
Self-motivated
A good communicator, both written and verbal
This is a permanent position, with working hours being full time Mon-Fri 8:45am - 5:30pm. Salary is competitive depending on experience.
