Job Title: Paraplanner Hybrid working available
Salary: GBP34k - GBP40k DOE
Location: Ashford, with free parking and close to local shops and restaurants, Hybrid working available, 1-2 days working from home
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
The team:
The company employ 24 self-employed advisers across the South East who do their own prospecting and submit a 'paraplanning request' into the office. The Paraplanners select the most suitable plan, produce the KFI, write the suitability report and submit it back to the adviser to be presented to the client. They have a separate Adviser Support team who deal with new business applications, servicing, etc. and you'll be working as part of a team of 10 office based employees.
The opportunity:
Our client would like to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their existing team of four made up of 1 x Paraplanning Manager, 2 x Paraplanners, 1 x Trainee/apprentice plus a Technical Manager who is chartered and a fellow.
Being a Line Manager to 3-4 people, allocating work, monitoring workflow, etc. in addition to the core paraplanning work itself.
Suggest ideas on improvements to systems, processes, etc.
Career progression is available to become a Paraplanning Manager in due course.
Back office = Xplan (Iress)
Main Platforms used - Aviva, Fidelity, Quilter, Transact.
Systems used - O&M Profiler, FE Analytics, risk profiling is a proprietary system owned by Square Mile who support us with our CIPMain responsibilities:
Preparation of suitability reports from approved templates
Draft templates for approval
Obtain relevant quotations from providers
Process new business
Obtain client information
Obtain policy information
Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings
Communicate easily understandable recommendations to customers in all cases, and in writing
Aware of and complying with the rules of the FCA and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance
Comply with the requirements laid down in the
Compliance and Administration procedures
Create compliant client files where all communications are documented correctly
Support the provision of good quality advice and service that does not require customers to make complaints
Complete CPD activity to meet identified needs and complete training activity records accordingly
Ensure any rule breaches are brought to the attention of the Senior Management
Develop and maintain the highest possible compliance standards in all aspects of the businessSkills and experience required:
Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning
