HS&E Representative

Health, Safety and Environmental Representative required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components within the automotive industry, based in the Basildon area. They are seeking an experienced HS&E Representative to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day duties of HS&E matters, including the management of a small team of facilities assistants.

HS&E Representative Position Overview

Ensuring legal compliance of health, safety and environmental legislation
Delivering training on manual handling, risk assessments, waste management, fire awareness and COSHH.
Managing COSHH and risk assessment databases
Delivering presentations and training sessions
Record keeping of accidents and training
Taking responsibility for site security
Reviewing current procedures within the HS&E department
Producing fire risk assessments and audits on health and safety

HS&E Representative Position Requirements

Proven background within a HS&E role
Experience with ISO14001 & internal auditing
Experience within a manufacturing environment
IT literate
Based in a commutable distance of Basildon
Full UK Driving License
NEBOSH or IOSH qualified is desirable

HS&E Representative Position Remuneration

Salary GBP28,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience
Working hours Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 07:30 - 14:00. Permanent position.
