We are currently looking for a Deputy AR & Revenue Manager to join our busy team!

The Deputy AR & Revenue Manager will become proficient in the processing of student finances in accordance with the best practice benchmarks used by Navitas to measure effectiveness, becoming a vital part of the Finance service provision to colleges, students, and other key stakeholder groups. The Deputy AR & Revenue Manager will be part of a team providing revenue services to colleges and students and be expected to add value to a high energy environment with extremely motivated people and take particular responsibility for ensuring that appropriate financial policies and procedures are emplaced and that compliance requirements are fulfilled. The position will hold responsibility for deputising for the AR & Revenue Manager a assume management duties when required. Coaching, leading & process ownership will play a key part of the role.

As well as being a highly motivated, the Deputy AR & Revenue Manager will be a team-orientated person, capable of adding value to the Shared Service networks finance function, a self-starter who is able to use their initiative and be an active and productive member of a cross functional team.

Location: Oxford (Hybrid working)

Deputy AR & Revenue Manager Duties:

Participate in induction and orientation activities as required
Answering audit queries at Year-End
Any other duties or tasks as directed by the Line Manager
1st Level Approval for student refunds & transfers
Service level Ownership
Undertake such other duties and tasks as may lie within the scope of this post to ensure the effective delivery and development of financial service to the network
Deputising for AR & Revenue Manager
Process Improvement
Deputy AR & Revenue Manager Requirements:

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
Experience with corporate financial, accounting, and administrative information systems such as Oracle
Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite
Experience of student finance and student finance systems an advantage
Fluency in European languages advantageous
Analytical skills
Ability to work effectively with, and within, a team
Capacity to understand and implement internal controls and process improvement
Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups
Proactive work habits
The ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure of meeting monthly deadlines
The ability to monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures
The ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals and with a wide variety of organisations and audiences
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Equal Opportunity Employment and Occupational Safety and Health principles and practices
Staff Management & Coaching experience
Meet and encourage the overall objectives / KPI s of both the finance & Revenue team
Delegate & coordinate tasks accordingly within the revenue team
Support the AR & Revenue Manager when required
