Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Senior or Junior Registered Community Psychiatric Mental Nurse (RMN/CPN/RNLD) Band 5-6 to join the Community Mental Health Team, based out of Luton near Dunstable in South Bedfordshire. The role is Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The post holder will be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and ideally have post qualifying experience in a relevant mental health care setting. You will carry out the role of a care coordinator under the principles of Care Programme Approach (CPA). This will involve assessments, developing and implementing agreed care plans, reviewing the care provided, identifying risks and working with the patient to establish plans to mitigate risk, while responding to any emerging crises. The post holder will be instrumental in providing psychoeducation, mental state monitoring, relapse prevention work and offering advice and guidance on issues that may impact on someone's physical health.
The pay rate for this locum role is between GBP18.12 - GBP29.12 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
