Location - Brecon or Newtown
Rate - GBP11-GBP12 PAYE Per hour
Hours - 30 hours Per week

1. To provide robust coordination services to the IAS, being able to triangulate several sources of information and data to ensure the Referral to Treatment Targets are adhered to.

2. Be responsible for organising and managing the IAS team workload in relation to assessment waiting lists and support functions and assisting the prioritisation of workload to ensure Government targets are met and the National Autism Framework is followed.

3. Manage, organise and maintain an effective referrals system for the IAS service, entering details correctly onto the database as well as WPAS.

4. Designated Lead in Powys on the implementation and maintenance of WCCIS and Spectrum Star.

5. Responsible for all appointments, referral and panel meetings, resolving conflicting diary appointments and scheduling diary times effectively, knowing the whereabouts of the team members at all times.

6. Respond to all queries into the office in a timely and professional manner, initiating actions and follow ups and reporting progress as appropriate, using judgement to ensure that messages and actions are prioritised and brought to the attention of the appropriate member of the IAS Team with any supporting information.

7. Manage all incoming correspondence for the IAS. Deal autonomously with routine items and action reminders as appropriate or instructed.

8. To respond to correspondence as directed, typing, drafting replies where necessary, copy typing, audio typing of clinical reports, some of which contain sensitive information.

9. Responsible for efficient, functional and up to date filing and electronic filing systems, including setting up, maintaining and running of an efficient 'brought forward' system whereby documentation can be retrieved promptly.

10. Organise meetings, IAS Groups, appointments and referrals as appropriate, book venues, equipment and refreshments; co-ordinate attendance. Tracking correspondence and monitoring follow up actions.

11. Knowledge of electronic patient information system, to include WPAS and WCCIS. Utilise the electronic patient information systems to ensure the accurate recording of information.

12. Responsible for the completion and collation of statistical information relating to IAS activity and disseminating to relevant stakeholders and Welsh Government ensuring deadlines are met.
