IT Sales Engineer Congleton, Cheshire Full Time GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 DOE

Established in 2006, our client is a Cyber Security Strategist and a trusted Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP).

This new role is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has the drive and ambition to kick-start their IT career in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) sector of the IT industry, or perhaps you want to take your career to the next level with some exciting progression opportunities.

You will be offering the very best pre-sales and post-sales support to customers, by showcasing and advising on core services and providing reactive post-sales support to those that need it.

This role is available on a hybrid work-from-home arrangement; however, it is important that you have the means to travel to the head office in Congleton (Cheshire) when required to attend on-site client face-to-face meetings.

Required skills

An understanding of IT security solutions and their benefits
Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with the concept of a SaaS model
Excellent commination skills - confident talking to new/potential customers
Experience working with Backup & Recovery solutions would be highly desirable
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments would be highly desirable
Development expertise in PHP and MySQL within a Linux environment would be highly desirable

What will your role as an IT Sales Engineer look like?

Manage and undertake the provision and configuration of new services, ensuring new customers are onboarded with the highest attention to detail
Provide reactive post-sales support to those that need it, with a smile
Manage the communication between our vendor partners for any required Support Case Escalations, both via email and phone
Oversee the businesses own internal IT operations: Infrastructure, Security & Telecoms
Perform product demonstrations of our Core Services (either remotely or on-site as necessary) and maintain your knowledge of the underlying technology we use
Writing and maintaining technical documentation to ensure our approach is streamlined
Contribute towards periodic Webinars and Website Blog Postings
