The main purpose of job is to be responsible for leading the UK IT infrastructure in accordance with Head of Group IT / Global governance, and support for all local IT related activities.
Role Responsibilities
Manage and role and the IT infrastructure adhering to global and local governance, and management of local servers and storage
Responsible person and primary account manager for local hardware and software access, emergency / business IT continuity plans, back up data, and holder of key interface documentation, processes and procedures
Maintenance and configuration of IT hardware and software, including updates, service packs, back ups, licenses, and databases
Ensuring all data protection, environmental and quality control procedures are adhered to and logged, with safety protocols for data transfers, and the investigation and reporting of any data breaches
Coordination of projects, and other site continuous improvement projects, systems implementation, and supporting Group with any developments, root cause analysis and testing
Overseeing user / access rights management, including internal changes, onboarding and offboarding of employees
Monitor out of office hours and call-out activity
Overseeing procurement and the issuing of peripheral devices
Ensuring optimal development and maintenance of local systems and networks

Qualifications and Experience
IT Infrastructure service experience (Firewall, Switch, Wi-Fi, Segmentation)
Security technologies experience (Microsoft environment)
Microsoft AD incl. Azure experience
VM-Ware / Hyper-V experience
Broad range of experience with Microsoft Office 365; Exchange; Active Directory; Windows; SharePoint; Teams; Dynamics NAV; Database Software (Access); Development Software; Internet Software; Manufacturing Software; Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint); Design Software; Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Project Management Software
2 years experience in a similar infrastructure role
Demonstrable record of maintaining IT structural integrity and data protection
Problem-solving / project management experience
Degree or equivalent in IT and / or project management discipline (desired)
Experience of working in international businesses (desired).
