The role would suit a HR professional who has previous experience in joining an established business that due to growth needs to determine a HR function.

What we need for this varied role:
CIPD Level 3 or a diploma in HR or degree qualified essential
Practical knowledge of HR Systems including MS outlook, power point and excel
Previous HR experience at a similar level
Previous Director level reporting experience
Experience establishing a HR Department - implementing process and giving direction to Departmental Managers
Effective communication skills, highly organised with a good attention to detail.
A good collaborator
Experience working within a fast paced employee driven company
Practical experience of disciplinary procedures, redundancies and employee relations
Day to day responsibilities:
Administering the documentation in support of the employee life cycle including (New joiner, employment changes, family leave, absence management and leaver administration).
Coordinating meetings (or taking the meetings) in relation to the employee life cycle.
Absence management across the business
Coordinating the performance review process and administration
Managing existing HR records and maintaining accurate and up to date employee data on the HR system. Producing reports as required by Managers
Employee Relation issues including formal meeting note taking.
Function as a first line responder for basic employee queries/ requests and escalating to the Department Managers as required.
Work with and support A1 business units
Recommend and implement policies as required in keeping with current legislation
Provide colleagues with KPI data and management information as requested
Provide administration support for regular HR initiatives, for example (but not limited to) annual appraisals
Ensure HR documentation used by the departments is up to date and relevant
Maintain employee files as appropriate, including data cleansing in line with GDPR
Provide ad-hoc project support to the A1 Business
Display a willingness to learn and develop in a HR role
Teams meeting competent
Hybrid working - in the office 3 days per week This is a full-time role based on 40 hours per week
