John Ashley Recruitment are pleased to be working with this highly innovative manufacturing business which is experiencing high growth and new opportunities. We are seeking an astute and well organised Administrator who has a high level of proactiveness and able to prioritise a high workload within a very busy office environment for a major manufacturing company. This is multi tasking at its best from data entry to all office administration working effectively to targets/deadlines.

We are looking for a competent, proactive and reactive Administrator who can manage a high volume workload and progress workloads, working independently making the necessary decisions and interface with the entire office support department. The hours will be 9.00am - 5pm Monday - Friday.

Main Activities:

Raising and managing all customer order documentation associated with supply chain and orders with a high attention to detail, accurate data entry and checking all documentation is correct before invoicing.

Data entry using a bespoke database, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Sage (Version 50) as the main systems. Full training will be given where necessary.

Work with Warehouse team to ensure safe and timely dispatch of orders and stock levels.

Creating production paperwork and working with the Production team to ensure the paperwork is accurate and timely.

Raising invoices and credits for customers.

Assist with the planning and purchasing department.

Process goods in paperwork and challenge any discrepancies.

Liaising with all departments to prioritise workloads ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in information documented.

Carrying out all administration to support the effective running of the client contracts.

Filing and organising administration ensuring all relevant information obtained.

Credit control administration.

You will have:

Previous similar or relevant experience of working within a busy and fast pace customer service of administration support office.

The ability to work on initiative and decision make when necessary to progress orders.

Good IT competency in Microsoft Office with a knowledge of in house or data management systems- Sage would be an advantage but training will be given.

A multi tasker, able to ensure consistency and accuracy in work processed.

The ability to deal and communicate with a varied team including and provide the necessary support.

Will need to possess a can-do attitude and the ability to quickly adapt to changes and learn the company systems quickly.

Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever required, and the ability to distribute and respond to these in a timely manner.

Be able to work under their own initiative, with great organisational skills and be a team player.

Excellent communication and customer facing skills and be able to communicate with a variety of people during your working day.
