When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. And you could be a part of the team making it happen.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Housekeeper to work 22 hours per week for our Home from Home in Oxford.

CLIC Court Oxford provides free, self-catering accommodation to families of children and Young People accessing specialist Cancer treatment at the local hospitals.

The successful candidate will support the Deputy House Manager in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that can contribute in providing a clean, safe, homely environment while being respectful, sensitive and supporting to families.

Duties include: -

• Carrying out cleaning to a high standard
• Regular laundering of all linen
• Assist with ordering of cleaning materials
• Carrying out all tasks whilst adhering to all house policies and procedures.
• Participating in eLearning, training, supervision and staff meetings.
• Maintaining confidentiality of personal and sensitive data with which the post holder comes into contact with.
• Basic Computer skills.
