SEND ASSISTANT

An enthusiastic SEND Assistant is required to work in partnership with the SENDCO, Student Intervention Manager and classroom teachers to support the progress of students who have special education needs, in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive Intervention Team.

Candidates are required to support students with literacy and numeracy and in accessing the curriculum regardless of their particular needs and learn effectively alongside their peers. As a result, SEND students will make progress in line with expectations and fulfil their potential.

Hours: 8:45-15:30 in term time only. Full and part time roles available

Salary: Scale 3, Point 4 - £13,616.83 per annum (based on 30 hours)

Progression is based on an annual performance review.
