An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor Quantity Surveyor, to work with a regional refurbishment and maintenance contractor, on a full time, permanent basis in Devizes.
In this role, you will be working as part of the Small Works Team, focussing on 3 key accounts, working on additional/planned works on responsive maintenance contracts.
Duties:
Measurements and planning.
Working from a schedule of rates and submitting quotes for approval.
Organisation of labour and suppliers.
Project management of lower value jobs.
Site visits and inspections across the Southwest.
Stakeholder management, maintaining excellent client relationships.
Performance monitoring customer satisfaction, quality surveys.
Variations, valuations and invoicing.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management would be advantageous.
Demonstrable experience of client management and engagement in the construction industry.
Commercially aware, with experience/understanding of working from a schedule of rates and a good knowledge of MTC s.
Experience effectively managing and organising labour.
Proven ability to prioritise and manage one s workload effectively, keeping to client deadlines.
