Salary: £31,305 to £37,956 per annum

The Creative Arts Department are seeking a Course Leader for Performing Arts. The successful candidate will have Drama and Musical Theatre expertise and teaching experience within a formal education setting. Performing Arts sits within a vibrant and diverse creative curriculum. We have a busy performance calendar at our own McMillan Theatre, which is an extension of our classroom environment, and beyond. The team have exceptionally high standards for their students and are proud that many students progress onto the UK’s leading training establishments.

The post-holder will be motivated and enthusiastic, and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners by maximising their potential to make positive progress towards timely success. You will have some industry experience and be flexible in your approach to adapt to the various levels and needs of learners.

You will be expected to co-ordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience across allocated courses, programmes and subjects and lead a successful team of staff to contribute to the College’s expectations of quality.
