Our Client is looking for new solar farm maintenance operatives to work for our North Norfolk, UK based operations, undertaking a variety of on site maintenance, predominately in the solar farm cleaning industry.
The main bulk of our work is undertaken between March and October and our operatives work 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Work is placed all over the UK. Please see further details outlining your duties and any benefits you would receive.
Daily Duties will include:
Cleaning solar farms using a tractor and industry standard cleaning technology
Working alongside a small team of workers to implement works as planned by the office staff
Operating a water purification system
Providing real time insights to the office on site based issues
Using the company App
Maintaining onsite equipment as necessary
Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment
Following the direction of the site supervisors
Driving on behalf of the company and using trailers if required
Some hand cleaning and other tasks may be undertaken that require longer periods of walking/standing
Benefits to you:
Subsistence pay provided whilst working away from home at GBP15/day
Accommodation provided whilst working away from home
PPE and uniform provided
Company vehicles supplied for your duties
Salary based on 2000 working hours - GBP22,414-GBP26,896.80
Overtime above 2000 working hours paid at GBP10-GBP12/hr
Essential:
Must have a full valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
Trailer driving experience
Tractor/plant machinery experience
Working Hours: We work from 7am-7pm on site most days. Occasionally early and late in the year these hours can be reduced due to weather conditions and available light. Some low level light working will be undertaken. You will need to able to get to the yard (North Norfolk) for 6am on the day your rotation starts. You would be required to stay away from home during your working rotation and this can be anywhere in the UK and occasionally abroad if the company requires it
