Grower Supervisor North Cambridgeshire
Are you on the lookout for a new and exciting role within Horticulture?
About Our Client
We are currently working with a client who specialises in the production and distribution of quality young plants, poinsettias and added value products. Their site in Cambridgeshire is over 25 acres of glass and polytunnels and due to continued growth, they're looking for a Grower Supervisor to join the team.
About The Role
You will be responsible for the production of plants to the required specification. As a grower, pest and disease control will fall into your remit, as well as, spraying, moisture checks, and feed. You will also ensure the glasshouses are kept to high health and safety standards. You will be responsible for your own set area, managing the process from planting through to picking.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have basic plant knowledge and be able to demonstrate skills in irrigation and crop protection. Most importantly, you will have an enthusiasm for horticulture and a passion to learn. Ideally, you will have a qualification in horticulture and PA1 and PA6.
