We are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, to join our team in at Marston Gate on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee the effective running of the warehouse operation, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of products with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Utilising your leadership skills, you will be responsible for the management, motivation, development and safety of our Warehouse Team. Where necessary, you will provide staff with training and inductions, focusing on safe handling to avoid damage to products or injury to staff.
With a keen focus on delivering targets, you will ensure customer and company procedures are adhered to including meeting our SLA as well as ER procedures, such as performance management or absence monitoring.
Additionally, you will:
- Provide reliable end-of-shift reporting and customer update calls
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out
- Champion KAIZEN activities and identify areas for continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be considered as a Warehouse Team Leader, you will need:
- Experience of management of direct reports
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and operational experience of Warehouse Management Systems
- Awareness of KAIZEN principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
- Good level of understanding of the English Language, both written and verbal
Ideally, you will have an MHE licence.
The standard working hours are expected to be 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, however, this role will require a degree of flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
