Supply Chain Customer Service Administrator

Andover

Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm

GBP10.30 Per Hour

12 weeks Temporary - Permanent position

Our client is a focused world-wide textile, hygiene and safety solutions business with leading positions in the countries they operate within. Our client delivers a complete textile rental and laundry service to all types of customers. Within the UK they offer staff clothing, such as chef ware, bed and bath linen to hotels and hospitals, floor mats and washroom equipment. Customers are serviced through a network of laundries throughout the UK.

Purpose of the Job

The Andover Customer Services team is part of the UK Supply Chain operation which is responsible for ordering stock from suppliers, managing stock levels and despatching stock to the UK laundries. The Customer Service team has five members of staff, and its primary responsibility is to process and manage internal orders, work with the warehouse operator to despatch and deliver goods to the laundries and provide an excellent and professional level of support to the laundries.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have the Following:

Essential

Educated to A Level or equivalent

Able to demonstrate a good level of numeracy

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Competent Excel skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team when needed

Ability to provide an outstanding level of Customer Service

Pro-active within their work and understands their roles responsibilities

Contribute to a safe working environment

Ability to act in accordance with our Client s company values (Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Exemplarity)

Desirable

Ideally the candidate will have experience in at least one supply chain; procurement administration or import/export

Ideally experience of working with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics AX)

Please note that the first 12 weeks of this appointment will be paid via Active Staff Limited.
