This well-established public sector organisation are looking for an Administrator/PA to join their team. Based in Bordon, this role is part-time, working 28 hours a week, Tuesday to Friday 09:30 - 16:30 and a hybrid working scheme is offered.
Administrator/PA - About the Role
You will be responsible for providing administrative and IT support to key members of staff, including the planning and preparing of meetings and events, handling and responding to all correspondence and maintaining the electronic filing system. Furthermore, you will be required to monitor and update the website and social media accounts as required.
This is a fantastic role that offers great flexibility within a busy and vibrant office environment. Your key responsibilities will be:
Providing administrative support to key members of staff.
Assisting with preparation of meeting agendas, inviting and distributing paperwork to attendees.
Logging applications, ensuring correct documentation is presented.
Responding to queries, complaints, and requests for information in person, via telephone calls and emails.
Providing administrational assistance to senior staff members including responding to invitations, updating records and diaries, organising visits and events.
Attending meetings taking minutes/notes of the meetings.
Attending training courses or seminars related to the role of the Administrator as required
Monitoring the website and social media page daily and update the website and social media accounts in accordance with requirements.
Assisting in the production and organisation of the distribution of regular newsletters, promotional material and other publications as required.
The successful Administrator/PA will have:
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Sound working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Windows packages and virtual video conferencing, Zoom, Teams and Skype.
Good understanding of the importance of good public relations
Experience of working in a successful customer service environment
Receptionist/telephonist experience in person and by phone/email
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to organise and prioritise, working to strict deadlines
