Area Sales Manager - Building Support Systems
Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Building Support Systems
Industry Sector: Building Materials, Building Products, Masonry Support Systems, Concrete, Concrete Framed Structures, Concrete Accessories, Structural Concrete Products, Steel Products, Steel Fixings, Fixings, Anchors, Support Systems, Building Products, Construction Sales, Civil Engineering, Fa??ade Fixing Products, Merchants, National Builders Merchants, Buying Groups, Housebuilders, End Users
Area to be covered: South (predominantly South East however will cover across to South West)
Remuneration: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000neg + 10% bonus
Benefits: GBP420 car allowance or Audi / BMW equivalent company car & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Manager - Masonry Support Systems will involve:
Technical Sales Manager position selling a high quality range of building support systems / metalwork structural systems such as: masonry support systems, connectors, fasteners, wall ties, wind posts, tension bars, lintels, restraint fixings, fixings
Majority of your time will be spent selling national builders merchants and buying groups such as: Jewson, Travis Perkins, Buildbase etc
The remaining portion of your time will be spent generating specification / influencing national / regional housebuilders and end users
Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over circa GBP8m
Majority of your time will be managing existing account however will be expected to generate new business
The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Manager - Masonry Support Systems with:
Must external sales experience in the building trade
Open on building materials / products sold for example: insulation, concrete, windows, doors, metalworks, fixings, fastenings, lintels, cladding etc
Ideally contacts with regional / national housebuilders / end users
Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
