Account Manager (Electronics Manufacturing)

GBP25,000 to GBP30,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension 4% Employee and 5% Employer + Death in Service Benefit 2x Annual Salary + Option to join Bupa after Probation
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.30pm. Friday Early Finish at 1.30pm.
Account Manager required for a successful and well established electronics manufacturer serving a wide ranging customer base. The company have a professional yet supportive and friendly working environment.
The Successful Account Manager will have proven experience of accounts management within manufacturing or a similar industry. Those with experience in the electronics sector will be at a significant advantage. You will have previous experience with ERP systems & databases. Proven basic experience of financial management is required. You will ideally be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field or business administration, although those who are not are still encouraged to apply.
The Account Manager Role:
Prepare costings proposals ensuring information provided by engineering and materials within required timelines.
Review quotations prior to release to ensure they fully meet customer requirements.
Receive purchase orders, circulate contract review and acknowledge orders to customers timescale.
Maintain accurate and up to date forecasting and distribute to appropriate personnel.
Support with the creation & provision of an enquiry launch form (ELF) to the commercial department for all new enquiries.
Ensure SOP reflects current order book, quoted and unquoted forecast and managing SOP on daily and weekly basis with input from internal and external account managers.
Provide day to day customer support as required.
Completion of concise & comprehensive weekly status reports for internal and external distribution.
Manage customer issues to resolution in timeframe specified and to customer s satisfaction.
Assist the external sales team with customer management to identify value add opportunities.
The Successful Account Manager:
You will have proven experience of accounts management within manufacturing or a similar industry.
Those with experience in the electronics sector will be at a significant advantage.
You will be IT literate being competent with various Microsoft packages, in particular Excel & Word.
You will have previous experience with ERP systems & databases.
Proven basic experience of financial management is required.
You will ideally be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field or business administration, although those who are not are still encouraged to apply
