Partner with the best

Based in Nailsea this role will be responsible for the Project Cost-Control of a number of small projects. You will provide key cost & financial reporting analysis within the team and to other stakeholders (including the Project Finance Manager, Project Director and the Senior leadership team). Driving the project team to maintain a cost-focus and maximise the project's financial performance.

As a Project Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:
  • Controlling Project costs for a portfolio of projects. Managing the impact of change orders and identifying and reporting changes in expected cost for project scope.
  • Working with the team to ensure an accurate EAC.
  • Conducting quarterly forecasting of spend profile across projects, reflecting project execution in line with the project plan.
  • Conducting quarterly Project Cost Review (PCR) to validate total project cost, presenting to the wider SPS management team.
  • Assisting in the closure of multiple legal entities at quarter end as required by your project portfolio.
  • Managing cost budgets within Oracle ERP.
  • Supporting the SPS cash collection effort by maintaining project team focus on timely achievement of project cash milestones.

  • Be CIMA/ACCA/AcostE Accredited
  • Have proven relevant finance/Project costing experience, with progressing responsibilities
  • Be a driven individual with proven problem-solving capability
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be an effective team player
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment and attention to detail
  • Have a commitment to EHS, integrity and compliance priorities
