Role: 2nd Line Desktop Technician - ContractLocation: Worcester Duration: 3 Months+Rate: GBP190-GBP200 Per DayStart date: ASAPI m currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Desktop Technician to join a public services organisation in thew Worcester area, on a contract basis.This 2nd Line Desktop Technician role can lead into a permanent opportunity for the successful candidate.About the Role:

• Install and test new software ensuring all process are followed according to agreed standards.
• Deliver software, hardware to end users and perform any upgrades, repairs as necessary.
• Provide advice regarding relevant PC hardware, software and peripheral support to desktop, mobile and terminal users.
• Monitor, progress and escalate fault reports in line with departmental procedures.

Skills/experience required:

• Computing qualification at HNC level or equivalent experience
• Windows 10 knowledge and experience
• Active Directory knowledge
• An understanding of ITIL and exposure to change management processes would be advantageous
• Office 365 support experience - SharePoint, MS Teams, Office Suite
• Monitors, printer, and general desktop hardware support
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic IT issues
• Knowledge of cloud services and SaaS operating (would be desirable)
