JOB PURPOSE

To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join a thriving department to teach Physics A Level with additional responsibilities e.g Welsh Baccalaureate tutor, Applied Science tutor. The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge; the ability to inspire learners as well as teaching to a high standard in order to create effective learning opportunities to ensure that all learners reach their full potential. The individual must demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive learning environment through the use of ICT and innovative teaching methods whilst also being familiar with proven teaching methods. There will be a great opportunity to collaborate with tutors on our other campuses as you share innovative resources and practices.

The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team and be willing to use his/her area of expertise or interest to develop the department further.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn meddu ar wybodaeth pwnc; y gallu i ysbrydoli dysgwyr yn ogystal ag addysgu i safon uchel er mwyn creu cyfleoedd dysgu effeithiol i sicrhau bod yr holl ddysgwyr yn cyflawni hyd eithaf eu gallu. Rhaid i'r unigolyn ddangos ymroddiad i greu amgylchedd dysgu cadarnhaol drwy ddefnyddio TGCh a dulliau addysgu arloesol gan fod yn gyfarwydd hefyd â dulliau addysgu profedig. Bydd cyfle arbennig i gydweithio gyda thiwtoriaid ar ein campysau eraill wrth ichi rannu adnoddau ac arferion arloesol.
