The job:
Responsible for manufacturing components on the production schedule to the drawing specifications within set timescales.
Able to work 3 shift rotation - 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6
Manufacturing components to support machine build at the Rochdale site.
Skills /experience
• CNC Machining - able to operate milling and turning machines
Experience of using Heidenhein/Fanuc controls
• Ability to write CNC programs, identify and solve problems
• Must be able to work to a high level of quality
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Able to work in safe manner in line with the company s Health & Safety policies
Personal Attributes:
• Computer competences: desirable Microsoft Office, Word/Excel/Outlook (email)
• Able to work on own initiative and to prioritise tasks on daily basis
• Comfortable in working within a team and independently managing their own time
• Well organized and with attention to detail
Able to work under pressure, flexible to needs of the business and be self-motivated.
• Problem solving skills
Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Skilled Status, timed served)
