Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 per year
Office based role (in Chesterfield) with regular visits to sites across the region covering the North Midlands & South Yorkshire areas. You will be a key part of the team carrying out various projects concurrently. You should have a proven background in Civil Engineering / Construction Project Management and hold recognised qualifications.
Projects include the following work categories:
Infrastructure, Lighting, Drainage, Roads, Surfacing, Hard and soft landscaping and fencing, Natural and Artificial turf areas
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations on site of staff as well as specialist subcontractors
Arrange delivery of materials & plant to site
Draw up programmes and adapt as required
Provide technical input to the team
Ensure sites are setup correctly and standards maintained throughout
Ensure all H&S documentation and standards are maintained
Ensure all quality documentation and standards are maintained
Work closely with the Directors and the wider team.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong numerical skills, be competent in the use of Excel, Word etc as well as a sound understanding of site engineering activities including basic setting out, level surveys and taking measurements
