Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recent teaching experience and we must be able to obtain a school performance reference.

Are you a highly motivated and inspirational Teacher of Science that can deliver inspiring lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics?

We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified Teacher of Science to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local secondary school in Grimsby. The Teacher of Science position is due to start in September 2022 on a long term, supply basis.

The role:

The desired Teacher of Science will have passion and enthusiasm for the subject. They will have the responsibility of delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful Teacher of Science will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Teacher Of Science you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent teaching experience at KS3 and KS4
Have the ability to deliver engaging lessons
Have a bank of resources available to cover a range of abilities
Be willing to become part of a larger team of permanent staff
